Why do fans love it?
Many believe that the ending was a perfect goodbye and had to happen that way. The cinematic vision and value was seen and the emotional depth of the characters was so relatable that they thought they were living the show.
There was nostalgia about season 1 and the background score only made it better. It ended on a high note for every single character.
Why do fans not like the ending?
Many compared it to the end of Game of Thrones and how it was disappointing when they could have spent more time on pacing the episodes instead of rushing them.
There are also a few parallel storylines coming at you at the same time so some found that to be confusing and hard to keep up with.
Currently, most of them are divided between figuring out if Eleven is still alive or not because the show left this question unanswered.
The emotional ending of the show though, is something everyone felt deep in their hearts because just like the actors, the audience had to say goodbye to characters that they have been talking about since the last 10 years.
